Medical Director

DAVID LARAWAY, M.D.

MEDICAL DIRECTOR

After finishing medical school at the University of Utah I headed to California to intern in a county hospital in California, followed by five years in the United States Army as a General Medical Officer. During this time I began to realize that being a doctor required more than medical knowledge and skills to perform surgery. I began to think of myself as having a role, not only as a physician, but also as an educator. During my OB/Gyn training and 16 years of practice I have taken pride in helping my patients gain a greater knowledge of the reproductive system in normality and disease. Part of the joy in taking care of pregnant women is helping them understand what is normal and what is not, so they can feel more in-tune with their bodies during this amazing part of life.

In addition to prenatal care and delivering babies I enjoy providing care in all aspects of women’s health including menstrual issues, infertility, menopause, pelvic pain and gynecologic surgery.

I’ve been married 33 years and I am a father of 4, grandfather of 5, and avid skier, hiker and reader.
